The article is devoted to main problems of Russian military industry enterprises, where as an example the shipbuilding companies of Severodvinsk city are represented. The crisis development is historically observed as well as the current situation. The main attention is paid to clusters forming mechanisms, where clusters are to be formed on the smart basis of restructuring and merging of companies and their parts, processes. The restructuring levels and kinds are presented.

The approaches of the resource theory of crises and contingency plan administration have been developed in respect of town-forming organizations of non-diversified centers of population. The introduced economic models let identify and substantiate the emergence of contradictions among economic and social systems, connected by joint activities, in single-industry towns. These problems are expected to be solved through the development of corporate legislation, where it is necessary to settle issues of interdependence, partnership and responsibility not only of legal entities, but also of business groups.

The development of small and medium enterprises (SME) plays an important role in the comprehensive modernization of the economy of single-industry towns, acting as a factor of its growth and diversification. The analysis of the dynamics of the development of SME of non-diversified municipal formations and directions of its state support was made, suggestions on the monitoring organization of statistical factors of SME in single-industry towns and on the development of comprehensive investment plans on modernization of single-industry towns were made in a part of the development and support of small and medium businesses in single-industry towns.

The article is devoted to problems of Russian enterprises’ financial diagnostics. Special attention is paid to the order and special features of distressed enterprise's financial diagnostics in accordance with the Rules of financial analysis for arbitration managers. The possible ways of improving the procedure of financial diagnostics are studied. Particular attention is paid to the methodical foundations of analysis and assessment of solvency, financial stability and profitability of the distressed enterprise. 

The article considers ethnic aspects of social interaction in Russia's largest megacity - Moscow. The features of the formation of ethnic communities (groups) are analyzed at different stages of the city development. It is emphasized the interaction tools of ethnic communities. It is analyzed the issues of reducing ethnic conflicts and using the experience of positive cooperation of various national groups in Moscow.
