Стратегия развития электронной коммерции в экономике Нигерии: эмпирические данные платформ Konga и Jumia

Аннотация
Нигерия является вторым по величине рынком электронной коммерции в Африке. Рост этого рынка обусловлен внедрением инноваций в области технологий, логистики и онлайн-платежей. В настоящем исследовании анализируется влияние электронной коммерции на экономику Нигерии на примере платформ Konga и Jumia. В исследовании использована модель авторегрессионных распределенных лагов (ARDL) и помесячные данные за период с января 2017 по декабрь 2023 года. Полученные результаты показали, что электронная коммерция, в частности платформы Konga и Jumia, оказывают статистически значимое влияние на экономику Нигерии как в краткосрочной, так и в долгосрочной перспективе. К числу факторов, статистически значимо влияющих на экономический рост Нигерии, относятся количество пользователей, осуществляющих коммерческие операции на платформах Konga и Jumia, инвестиции в телекоммуникационный сектор (как в краткосрочном, так и в долгосрочном периоде), а также число пользователей интернета. На основании полученных результатов правительству рекомендуется увеличить инвестиции в телекоммуникационный сектор и расширить доступ к интернету, что будет способствовать развитию электронной коммерции, внутренней и трансграничной торговли и экономическому росту.
