Has a Degree in Nuclear Engineering and a Post-Degree Specialization in Nuclear Energy and Alternative Energies at Politecnico di Torino, Italy. Further, he gained a PhD at RRC-KI Kurchatov Institute, Moscow, Russia. He is Honorary Member of the Hungarian Academy of Engineering.

Italy
Gained his Master’s Degrees in International economic policy at Sciences-Po Paris, France, and in International Relations at Charles University, Czech Republic. His main areas of expertise are energy markets, energy security and greenhouse gas emissions trading.
H. Faas
Italy
Joined the Joint Research Center (JRC) of the European Commission in 2008 and currently leads the group ‘Security of Supply’ within the Energy Security Unit of the Institute for Energy. Prior to joining the Commission, Henryk was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and worked for SwissRe in Zurich and Paris.
